Ernie Ball Earthwood Silk and Steel 80/20 Bronze acoustic guitar strings are made with an 80/20 bronze alloy wrap and steel core with a layer of silk in between. The silk produces a more mellow sound and makes the string feel more comfortable while reducing finger noise. Like our standard 80/20 bronze sets, tone is bright, yet slightly mellowed, while tension is also slightly lessened. Available in Extra Soft (10-50), Soft (11-52), Regular (13-56), and 12-String Soft (9-46).

Bought these for my 12-string, having struggled with some older and harder strings. They suit me perfectly and have a lovely sound!

Just put these on a newly set-up Epiphone 12-string. Truss rod hadn't been under much tension at all, so that's probably the biggest factor in making the action more playable. But these strings certainly feel softer than the D'Addarios that had been on the guitar before it was set up. If anything, they seem slightly quieter than the D'Addarios.

Recién retorné a la guitarra después de un hiato de más de dos años, con éstas cuerdas la guitarra suena genial y no lastima tanto las yemas de mis dedos. Además de venir con varios repuestos lo cual se agradece bastante.
