Excellent replacement for my old RT80 iron.These Ersa units are so well made that I reckon the old unit would still be working if the plug/socket hadn't been accidentally trodden on (by me!). It had given nearly ten years of service and I will replace the euro plug and keep the iron as a spare.

After just 13 months it started to cause "Err" form the station due to intermittent disconnects in the weak point where the lead comes out of the handle. Same with all of these, so nothing to do with this particular seller. I always keep one brand new one as a backup. (Should frankly be replaced under warranty.)
