This thing is TINY! It’s so cute! (See photos for size comparison next to an Arturia AudioFuse). But, it’s diminutive size belies its power.I bought it as the ATEM Mini Pro does not have an audio monitor output. Which is, frankly, bonkers. And, add to that my Samsung 40” T5300 TV (which I use as a computer monitor) doesn’t have a headphone output, which is equally bonkers. So, after experimenting with various solutions, this turned out to be the best.Plug the optical into the back of the TV, and, as a bonus, the TV’s USB socket can power the little gem directly, so no need for another power socket to be used up! Then, set the TV’s sound preferences to “optical” and away you go.It offers a good amount of amplification for headphones and the sound is clear without any hiss. The build quality is also excellent being all metal.Absolutely highly recommend.
