I'm fixing my motorhome this summer because of some pretty bad water damage. Perhaps I am overdoing it on the eternabond, but there is just something so comforting about how securely this tape attaches to fiberglass, painted surfaces, and rubber alike. Very easy to use - it is pretty stiff so it is easy to control and position, doesn't fall into itself in that annoying way most tape does because it is stiff enough not to - but not too stiff to be wrangled how and where you want it.I wasn't sure whether to get 2" or 4" but settled for 2 inches. If I needed wider I put down a second strip.Easy to remove rating: well, it is not at all easy to remove - thank goodness! But easy to pull off the backing if you use a hair dryer to heat it up. It does leave a lot of adhesive behind which is not easy to remove. But if you are just replacing it, the eternabond people say just to put the new layer over the adhesive that's left behind because they will meld together. That worked for me.I have seen people having problems with eternabond actually sticking to a surface, and that has me puzzled: I wonder if they have actually pulled off the very thin and hard to see membrane that covers the adhesive then you unroll the tape?? In my experience, once you do that, it is pretty hard to pull the eternabond off once you've even just lain it against the surface, without a hair dryer. Or maybe people did not clean off the surface enough (with denatured alcohol) and it was covered with seal treatment or something?High recommend!!!
