Winkelwagen is nog leeg.Reissue of a classic 1974 Ethio jazz LP from one of its founding fathers and all round musical genius, Mulatu Astatke. The tracks were later included on the Ethiopiques series of albums and compilations, which brought the treasures of the Ethiopian music scene of the 60s and 70s to a wider audience. Two tracks were also used on the soundtrack to the Jim Jarmusch movie "Broken Flowers".

omg. i'm so ridiculously happy to have gotten a copy of this LP. i had read on the sHoffman forum that it was an AAA pressing. it sounds wonderful on my system.technics 1200 SL MK II w stanton groovemaster cart - manley chinook phono stage - rotel power amp based home cinema set up / oppo BDP 103 for cdsmade in france, i give FULL thumps up to the label 'heavenly sweetness', they've done a wonderful job. LP was also flat, centred, and quiet.if you're a fan, definitely get it (while you can).

Awesome - if you are here you know what you are looking for. The pressing, sound and mastering is all great. Soild Mulatu Astatké instrumentals on this one!
