This is the second one purchased, this time for the freezer part of a fridge freezer. Found the same as last time to use a small sharp knife to start lifting off glue pad. The lock quality is very good and no sticking found. It's very functional and great value for money.

This simple product has made the world of difference for us caring for my elderly mom with demetia. Mom doesn't remember if she's eaten or not and has been eating endlessly out of boredom. It's very easy for us to use but she can't open the freezer with it on so we keep her meals in the freezer and put the 4 daily alloted meals in the fridge each morning. It's been a couple of months with no issue of the lock coming off. It's not expensive so even if it did come off, we would buy it again as it suits our needs perfectly! Thanks for a great product!

This is a great system. So easy to install, easy to use and seems well built. Our toddler has made the awesome discovery of the fridge light and constantly opens the fridge door - often leaving it wide open. This little latch keeps him out of it, but allows us to open the door one handed without needing to twist or move a latch to “unlock”. It automatically locks shut when the door closes and has a setting that allows you to turn off the auto lock. It’s a peel and stick installation, and the adhesive seems strong enough. We have an old fridge and it works just fine. I’m sure it would work as well with a newer fridge. I don’t think it could work on a French dot style refrigerator though. Overall a great unit and I would suggest it to anyone.
