der Funktionsumfang des Gerätes ist enorm.Gestochen scharfe Bilder bei Tag und Nacht. Sauberes Tracking erkannter Personen und präzise Einhaltung des zu überwachenden Bereiches sind nur ein paar Features. Sogar in den vergangenen Tagen mit verhältnismäßig wenig Sonne war der Akku nach zwei Tagen voll. Uneingeschränkte Kaufempfehlung!!!

After a lot of looking I decided I didn’t want the hassle of a wired security system and I’m really glad I went for this one. I have two outside my house and another style Eufi camera in my house and they do not disappoint .The day and night vision is very clear and easy to set up. You can set zones to record and set privacy areas with a black square to preserve your neighbours privacy .Only 3 screws needed to mount and the camera then clips in place making it easy to take down if needed. The solar panel either fits direct to the camera or there is an extension lead so it can mounted higher then the camera which I wish I had done and would recommend.It doesn’t need to be mounted to high . I’d recommend just above the hight of your window so it’s out of arms reach. It’s also has a 3x zoom making capture even clearer.

If you are going to buy this and expect the same functionality as the Eufy E340 but without the wiring then I have to disappoint you. The E340 is vastly superior to this because as a wired floodlight it has powerful lamps, out of bounds PIR to detect movement where it isn’t filming, and it even has a cruise mode to periodically patrol left and right for potential threats. This S340 solar cam has none of those features. It has the same dual lens zoom capabilities, but because it is battery powered, the features I mentioned above were omitted from this device so it can preserve battery. This is a shame for those who want the same features, but I think the compromise for the battery life is a necessary evil. However, this camera does still have AI tracking to follow detected subjects and the zoom is still very good. If you do not want to drill to wire the floodlight, this is your best battery option as no other battery camera can beat it in terms of functionality. The solar panel it comes with is also incredibly efficient, charging the camera even with an overcast so battery is topped up. All in all, if you keep your expectations in check this is one of the best battery cameras for the money. The spotlight built into it is quite pathetic, only enough to record the subject in colour but not illuminate surroundings well. If you pair it with a separate cheap solar powered floodlight and set the camera to record motion then this can become a great combination for capturing people at night

I have one of these S340 cameras set up and working through a Eufy Homebase 3, which records the camera event videos on its SSD. The data connection is WiFi. The camera's battery is topped up by the included solar panel. The set up has operated for a month without problem, including one week when we were away on holiday. It is attached in the shelter of a balcony (so I cannot comment on how weather-proof it is) and looking at our back garden. The wide angle lens and the motion detection function have good fields of view.Installation was straightforward - I like the included mounting widget, which allows the camera to be pointed as required. Set up was easy, although the system's reporting of signal strength is a bit twitchy.The wide angle, telephoto and night (B&W unless the camera's light is turned on) views are crisp and good resolution. I can use the pan and tilt function from my mobile.I can view live the back garden or review any event videos on my Android mobile. I also have the app on my PC but that's more fiddly to use.I have used the AI which now recognises family members. The human detection is OK but while we were away it did once register an inquisitive bird as human!Despite it being winter, the solar panel keeps the camera battery fully charged. That said, I have the panel located so that it has a good view of any sun we get.I am happy with this camera. If it continues to function as at present I will be delighted.
