vraiment parfait, n'ayant que 2 port pcie optionel en X1 je ne pouvais pas mettre de carte reseau standard en x8 mais le probleme a ete reglé avec cette superbe carte reseau M.2.juste branché sur le pc elle a ete reconnu directement, peut etre parcque j'avais encore les pilot de la carte standar en x520 mais elle a fonctionné direct, j'ai quand meme instalé les pilots de ce model par securitée.j'arrive enfin a profité des 8gbps de ma FREEBOX DELTA .

I was a little skeptical about how this 10gbit adapter would work. I knew it was a solid idea in theory, but I wasn't sure about how it would behave in practice. Well, it works flawlessly. It delivers the speeds I wanted. It was very easy to install. The cable plugs in securely. I have an external 10gbit thunderbolt adapter for a different device and despite it having a good heat dissipating enclosure and vents, the sfp module quickly gets too hot to touch. By comparison, the same sfp module remains barely warm to the touch after prolonged use when inserted here. No doubt, the heatsink does a very good job dissipating the heat right away inside the case, even when mounted on the bottom slot which limits airflow compared to the slots above it..

It works. Been using it in my unraid server without issues. Had to manually enable it and set the IP from the command line on unraid and set the sfp port on my unifi dream machine from auto negotiate to 10G. Perfect for those unique builds where pcie slots are in short supply.

Needed SFP+ more than I needed more than one nvme ssds. It worked in Linux. Had to change some bios settings.

Great m.2 to 10Gb nic. Worked with a finstar transceiver and fiber for full 10gb bandwidth. Make sure you use a x4 m.2 slot and also requires sata power.
