Please don't apply cheap options such as "tissue tapes" for controlled sound as it would destroy your head. Invest in these or "mute gels" and you shall not be deceived(I am not).A small problem one could face , would be the fitting of the" 14inch E-Ring " (Yes on the Snare ). As I have shown above ☝️ all you would need to do is make a small cut in the middle of the ring ,so that it sits steadily on the "Snare". This might be not applicable to all.Hope the review comes of any help.

These help with the tone. For most of us who only have cheaper drum kits these rings just encourage you with that better tone. Use these rings and avoid all the sticky stuff other drummers stick all over their kit
