Setup was straightforward. For a guy my size, the seat is kinda close to the handles. The X frame is a high step up and off. It feels sturdy enough. No power cord = freedom. I downrate it to 4 because they couldve given us sumotori a bit more love in the design.

First off...it is amazingly quiet!!! A lot of the reviews say that, but when you get on this bicycle, you realize just how quiet it is, to the point you think something isn't working. I just finished my first workout on this bicycle, after receiving it last night, so I'll share my thoughts.PackagingThe box wasn't overly large, and easy enough to handle because of the straps. Everything inside was pretty secure with styrofoam or tape, nothing was damaged. A good balance between packaging and overly packaging with too much waste.AssemblyMy only gripe with the assembly was the peculiar wording in the manual. There were several things that repeated a few times and makes you scratch your head. There was also some ambiguity about connecting the tension cable, that if you were going off words alone, it would be confusing. Attaching the feet, the seat post, and the seat were very easy. If you've ever assembled Ikea stuff, this is 100times easier. The console assembly was the part that was only slightly tricky. There is an electrical connection to make, easy enough as there is only one. The tension cable which I mentioned, takes a bit of fiddling, and you have to move the console itself up and down to give you enough slack to attach. There's also some ambiguity about when to move the cable holder clip. If you read the trouble shooting page, there are some better photos to see exactly what to do. Also, my console at first wasn't reading pedal movements, so I unclipped, and reclipped the electrical connection to solve the problem. Becareful installing the pedals because of the reverse thread. I believe any other pedal would work, but the pedals they supply are quite nice! The seat is very large. Very padded. It's pretty comfortable, although if you're a performance cyclist, it is probably not your thing...then again you'd probably be on a stationary bicycle and not an upright.StorageThe fold up is really quick, and it's easy to move around. You're not going to want to roll it over rugs and what not, it'll get caught, but moving it from a corner, to the middle of the room works well. It's actually quite compact.FitmentI'm 6'2, 180lbs. It fits me quite nice and there's a lot of room to spare on either end of the spectrum. I could pull the post out a few more notches and push down a few more too. The seat installation also gives you two options of forwards or rearwards, this is with bolts, and the manual recommends 5'6 or under to go for the forward bolts.UsageAs I said before, it is amazingly quiet!! There are 8 levels. 1 is very light, I suspect no resistance. 8 is quite hard, although not as hard as I've seen on a gym bike. It's completely sufficient for a tough work out though. I was mostly on 5/6, and just varying my speed to increase workout. The heart pulse monitor picks me up quickly. I've had issues at gyms with the pulse monitor not registering me, but this one registered me very quickly. The console works nice, it doesn't let you change miles/km for the ODO (who cares), and doesn't let you set age and weight for the calories (would have been nice) but it does work nicely as a timer and gives you an idea of how hard you are pushing yourself. The ergonomics of the machine are really nice, very low impact on my knees, nice padded seat. It is definitely quick and easy enough to move, setup, and get going for an early morning exercise that will make you sweat.OverallI would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable standup bicycle! The price is pretty good, although the old one now has a nice discount, but due to my height, and the increased strength of this model, I thought this made more sense. A few people said they preferred the old silver model, but this one is actually a pretty neutral greyish brown, and doesn't draw that much attention to itself when it's tucked away in the corner. There's a nifty little phone holder in the front as well so you can listen to music or whatever. A cup holder would have been great, but I guess that's how times have changed! Personally, I prefer watching television anyway, and because of how quiet this bike is, that's not a problem at all.Good luck with your work outs, and remember, consistency is key!! Keep at it

Oh I am a 5 foot 10 180 pound woman. This bike is perfect for big people. It is sturdy and solid feels like it will last for years. When I received it I had to open the box and bring the parts down to my basement rec room to put it together. It’s heavy. Over 50 pounds and well packaged.I was amazed that the instruction manual is written by people who actually speak English and French. Vocabulary and grammar are perfect and all the details are incredibly well presented. All the parts are identified and vacuum sealed in containers that are labelled. They correspond to the steps in which you build the bike. Lots of parts but very clearly explained. I built this in three hours with no help. I highly recommend this to Seniors and people who want to improve their fitness level.

Have had this for a while now.Resistance level 1-6 is pretty much useless as its like spinning in air. level 7 tho is slightly better, difference between 7 and the last one 8 is very very high. But overall durability and how much i have used it. Its a very good exercise bike!doesnt take up much room

Had this bike for a little while now and thought it helpful to honestly review it.1Dealing with the seller and shipper - superb and very easy. The seller responded immediately to my request for an invoice. The shipper [a large well known firm] has an online trace facility that updates at each stage of the shipment journey and keeps you very well informed. The bike was extremely well packaged and arrived in pristine condition.2Ease of assembly - quite easy. It took me about an hour and a half working methodically and slowly by myself, step by step. The instruction manual is well written and clear. Others have commented on the fiddly last step re connection the tension cable. It is fiddly but if you google you can find videos online that show how how to do it. Plus other videos on the overall bike build. Recommend watching these a few times first. Also, at the last step prop the bike up so that you have easy access to the tension cable aperture. One last tip - if you have a ratchet socket and driver set, use that to tighten the bolts and screws. That way you can easily get a really good solid build.3Build quality - absolutely superb. As others have said it is built like a tank and rock solid. It is whisper quiet in operation - you really can't hear a thing.4Moving it around - easy. Follow the instructions and it rolls and folds very easily.5Comfort - again, superb. The large oversized seat is very comfortable and the bike feels very stable and secure.6Ease of operation - good. The onboard console is intuitive, easy to use and shows a very clear large display.7Pricey? Yes, a bit. The item ships from Germany. In my case it was shipped to the UK so, as well as the purchase price, there was a hefty shipping fee for the courier. Plus if, like me, you are in the UK then, post Brexit, there is an additional charge from the shipper for VAT on the item leaving the EU plus various additional surcharges for fuel, weight etc. Could come as a bit of a shock if you are not ready for it.8Conclusion. When all's said, it is like everything else in life - you get what you pay for. In this case, you pay a premium price but you get a superbly built machine that I think will give my family years of service.
