Hello out there to all of my fellow reptile, or small animal keepers. I personally have kept for about seven years now, and I am currently keeping two Ball Pythons. The Exo Terra Snake Cave, Large, I find quite perfect to house my Ball Pythons. A really great advantage, is that the two that I ordered about a year or so ago, came with moss for the inside of the caves.Of course, one of the extreme benefits of moss on the inside of my Ball Python Baby Brothers' caves/lairs, is that it is an escape for some added humidity. So every time that I am going into each of my Ball Pythons' individual and separate aquariums daily with a spray bottle filled with water to boost their humidity levels to the appropriate high humidity of %50-70, I squeeze off a spray or two of water, in order to moisten but not soak the moss inside of the caves. The book entitled, Ball Pythons, that I had purchased from my local pet store, clearly states that Ball Pythons actually prefer a smaller more enclosed hide, so the large one of these my Ball Python Baby Brothers absolutely adore. My Ball Pythons are about seven years old, and about three and a half feet long.If my Ball Pythons were maybe between six inches to a foot longer, I would say that this was too small for them. One of the only disadvantages that I ever have from these caves, is that occasionally when I am taking my Ball Python Baby Brothers out of their aquariums to stretch their legs for a little bit, they will hook their tail through the entrance of their cave, and I will be bringing along the half pound cave top. Within a few minute though, I have separated Snake from cave. This has nothing to do with the caves being too small, but just the persistenceof my Ball Pythons.One question that I could easily see someone having, is after their bimonthly feeding, are the caves large enough still? Yes, even then they are "tight," but fine. One of my Ball Python Baby Brothers eats one small rat every two weeks, and my other Ball Python Baby Brother eats four large mice, one immediately after the other, every two weeks. It is a slow slither into their cave, but they just make it inside.On that note, the only other disadvantage that I could possibly think of with these caves, is that in being such a tight fit, my Ball Python Baby Brothers end up defecating inside of them quite often. Which is really no problem. I mean, if you have an aquarium pet, regardless of where from, you will be cleaning up their presents that they leave for you.

Ich hab den Artikel bei Amazon bestellt und er kam in gewohnter zuverlässiger Schnelligkeit an. Dafür schonmal Daumen hoch, denn es ist echt schwer jemanden zu finden der noch zuverlässig schnell liefert.Zur Höhle im Allgemeinen : Sieht gut aus, einfach, durch das Material und die glatte Oberfläche super desinfizier und reinigbar also auch hier 5 Sterne.Die Größe ist ja beschrieben, ist also ok für 1-2 erwachsene Leopardgeckos, größer wäre zwar schöner aber dann auch kaum bezahlbar denke ich.Habe die Höhle insgesamt dreimal und Deckel und Höhle passen wie angegeossen .Die Schwere ist zumindest für Leos perfekt sowas kippt keiner um :)Das Moos : Das Moos ist echt nicht sooo viel, allerdings sollte beachtet werden dass dieses ja durch anfeuchten auch noch aufquillt. Ich habe die Höhle mit Kokushumus gefüllt und das Moos oben drauf gestreut. Auswechseln muss man den Inhalt ja eh alle paar Wochen, da hat man meistens ein Bricket für so 1,80 zuhause rumliegen das dürfte also verschmerzbar sein.Fazit : Perfekt ! Für kleine Schlangen wie auch Leopardgeckos sehr geeignet, es gibt kein vergleichbares Produkt , gerade auch weden der glatten Oberflächen und der einfachen Reinigung. Wer also nicht die Zeit oder Muße hat eine Höhle selbst zu bauen und eine schöne praktische Alternative sucht ist genau richtig hier.

Skulle inte påstå att den här grottan är large. Min kp lär växa ur den så småningom, men tills dess kommer den användas. Jag gillar att den ser ut som en sten då den passar in med resten av inredningen. Blir min orm lite tjockare kommer jag att göra ingången större till honom, men då jag har modifierat exo terras grottor tidigare med gott resultat är det inget problem för mig. Över lag gillar jag grottan, och det gör min orm med.

Por suerte como la guarida se compone de la base y la tapa, puedo usar la tapa como cueva (es perfecta de tamaño), ¡y cuando crezca puedo usar la cueva entera! Sin duda la recomiendo
