So this is a great bulb with good shelf life...you should know that this bulb works for only 8 to 12 months after which the uvb expires... Bulb goes on but you should replace once a year atleast. The only draw back is the pl/l s type holder which requires different fixture and a copper osram choke to light it up. Leave that out and its a good product with good uvb output for reptiles nd turtles... Oh nd dis is no heat lamp so use seperately

Don't buy this product....If you want to first buy it's holder which is very important...otherwise it will short.....I have try to glow it without holder now my dad if kicking me off of the house...
