This is the best light weight extra comfort pad. I own the megamat but it is a little too large if you have to carry a long distance. This mat is very easy to carry, inflate and very comfortable.Little on pricey side but the one thing that causes people to hate camping is sleeping on the ground. The is better than many home mattresses. Well worth the money because it is also very durable.

This is almost perfect. It is the MOST comfortable sleeping pad I have ever used. And the inflation bag is genius. So, inflating and deflating is a breeze! BUT, mine opened a defect after 4 nights use camping between the deflate valve and the mattress. Very disappointing and impossible to locate without a tub of water--which most of us do not have in the campgrounds. The company was responsive, and I opted to repair the defect with their glue--but I'm holding my breath on longevity.

I made the mistake of purchasing this product in the summer and not using it until a camping trip I went on this past weekend. Temps were in the low 30s. It was new out of the package. Halfway through the night, my mat was completely deflated. I got up twice more to reinflate and it completely deflated each time, had to sleep on frozen ground. Couldn't find the hole in the dark. I was able to use the patch kit to fix the hole enough to survive the rest of the trip, but it appears to still leak a small amount of air slowly. I could not be more disappointed in this $250 sleeping pad.

Used twice for car camping late summer and early fall. Works great, everything and all aspects.have not hauled it in a backpack yet, maybe this winter. I can pack it in my ruck and it is heavier than my normal mat (another Exped) so am curious if the humping it vs. comfortable sleep ratio works out. The older I get them more comfortable sleep I need though.

This is the most comfortable and luxurious feeling mat I’ve found. Feels durable and almost like sleeping on a bed. The downside is that it’s bulky and heavy. It does help with my back and hip problems though.
