Faithfull WBC60 60 x M14 x 20.30mm Wire Cup Brush

Okay, not an exciting bit of kit but sometimes very, very useful.First off it's a disposable thing and depending upon you use it on determines how fast you wear the wires out. I actually used this on a wall to remove cement overage and it lasted well on such an abrasive surface.Cost is the main factor. There is little to be gained buying expensive wire cup wheels because they are going to wear out no matter what you get and thus I bought a couple of these which, are cheap as chips and decent enough quality .They fit a standard 115mm - 4 1/2" angle grinder no problem.Overall a good price for what it is.

Great value for money works great on my angle grinder just cant use it with the guard on and some of the wires do shoot out so just be careful

Yes it's cheap and does a the job but make sure you have gloves and eye protection on because the wires fly off this thing very fast so can be very dangerous

This is a wire cup brush, for use in an angle grinder.The brush arrives in a sealed packet (Photo).It is a standard M14, 2mm pitch threaded fitting, that will fit both 115mm and 125mm diameter angle grinders.It is recommended that you do not exceed 12500rpm.The brush itself is made from 0.3mm wire, crimped directly into the base. It is not twisted. (Photo).It weighs 140g.You would use this brush to remove either paint or a surface coating of rust from metal.As with all wire cups, you must let the wire do the work, if you push too hard the wire will either crush, break or disintegrate.If it isn't able to remove the paint/rust without excessive force, then you need a heavier duty cup.Try the twisted knot type. This has thicker wire and is considerably heavier, so will take more downward pressure. (But still, not too much.)When using any kind of wire cup, it is important that you wear eye protection. Small pieces of wire will inevitably break off, and it only takes a tiny piece to blind you.Quality wise, this cup is of the usual Faithfull quality.Very nice quality for a great price.Overall, I am happy to recommend this, just make sure that it is strong enough for the job you need.
