I ordered one of these on sale elsewhere as a kit and after using this setup, came here and order 4 more v2 base plates and release plates. I've now mounted these on all of my ballheads and tripods. The v2 base plate has a much improved button.Being able to quickly move my cameras from shot to shots has saved so much time as a solo creator. When you have enough of these you can just leave the release plates on your cameras and know you can quickly get things done.They're so secure I use them on my overhead rig, with a larger camera and monitor, and a vertical head.I've seen some reviews mention difficulty removing because they forget which way it slides in and out. On the V2 Base Plate the button has the icon for locking the button. The right side is the unlock icon. This is also the direction to remove it. If you are on the other side, the F in Falcam is the direction. Give it a try. It has helped me a lot.

I have to say it was/is extremely irritating to buy the f38 and not have it fit any of the regular arcs Swiss plates. Doesn’t fit peak design capture. I don’t understand why all the companies can’t be compatible…..BUT!!! This is awesome that they at least have this 2 sided plate to make up for it. I don’t like to have to buy new plates for all my lenses, etc but the quality and usefulness and minimalistic quality of this clip is fantastic. So easy and secure. I love the system. (Same as peak design but 1 mm different?!)

This plate allows you to adapt your F38 system to your Peak Design Camera Capture Clip. Depending on orientation this fits both the Falcam F38 and Peak Design baseplates. I prefer the Falcam F38 system, but if you have some older Peak Design pieces this provides an easy way for you to continue to use your Peak Design Camera Capture Clips while moving into the F38 system.

Picked this up to replace the capture clip base plate so I can use one plate with my F22 system on my tripods. Works great.
