I have both the Falcam holder and the Peak Design Capture clip. I would recommend the Falcam version for several reasons.... 1) the Falcam can fit onto those thicker padded shoulder straps. 2).You need to tighten down the screws on the PD Capture clip in order to secure it to you backpack strap and often, the screw ends protrude to the extent that they will rub / dig-in against you as you wear the backpack. The Falcam does not do this.

La he usado para llevar una segunda cámara a mano, sujeta en la tira de la mochila. Además, tengo 2 zapatas falcam así que puedo descolgar una cámara y poner en el mismo sitio la que estaba usando, es más rápido que cambiar objetivos, y para algunos eventos como bodas y fiestas es bastante útil.La zapata se puede ajustar para que se adapte al grosor de la correa de la mochila, aunque el sistema de apertura me parece algo peligroso ya que no cuenta con un seguro, y una presión indebida puede hacer que se afloje, y si tenemos mala suerte, podría acabar tirándonos la cámara al suelo.Lo que sí tiene bloqueo es la zapata propiamente, asegurándonos que no se deslizará fuera de su sitio involuntariamente.La pieza está bien hecha, en aluminio bien trabajado, aunque tiene en mi opinión una complejidad innecesaria, sobre todo en lo que respecta al ajuste a la tira de mochila, que va con unos cordones, una plataforma, varias posiciones... no es que sea difícil de usar, pero me parecen demasiados elementos a tener en cuenta.Una vez sujeta la cámara en la zapata, tampoco queda super firme en su sitio, claro, ya que la correa de la mochila tampoco es rígida, así que el objetivo de la cámara irá apoyado en el pecho o costado, lo que puede ser molesto. Quizá su uso en cinturón es más apropiado, aunque no dejaría de asegurar la cámara con una correa adicional alrededor de nuestro cuerpo, pero en ese caso, quizá esta zapata rápida es del todo prescindible, y ya con una correa de cámara de toda la vida es suficiente para tener una segunda cámara a mano.El accesorio es práctico y útil, añade algo de comodidad, pero su precio actual (72,99€) me parece muy difícil de justificar.

This Ulanzi FALCAM F38 camera capture clip has 2 parts: 1) a capture base that attaches to a strap such as your backpack shoulder pad and 2) a small plate that screws into your camera via the tripod mounting threads that fits into the capture base. What sets this camera capture clip apart from other brands/design is the unique cable/lanyard design.Other camera capture clip uses a large plate that goes behind your strap that clamps to the top capture clip. This instead the Ulanzi capture clip has 3 “layer” design. You have the bottom part which is the plate (held via cables) that goes behind the strap. Then you have a middle part where the cable slots into. Then lastly you have the top part where the camera plate connects to.Since the back plate is smaller, this allows the Ulanzi capture clip to feel more comfortable since you won’t feel the plate as much. Ulanzi does provide 2 different cables to allow the capture clip to fit different strap width and thickness. On top of that, the capture clip has 3 position you can slot the cable into, so it should fit all sorts of straps you’re planning on attaching it to. I don’t feel it’s difficult to setup the Ulanzi capture clip but it takes a little bit more effort compare to the simpler clamp design.The Ulanzi capture clip is compatible with other brand ARCA-SWISS capture clip plates as well. I currently own plates from PD and PGYTECH and they both fit without any issues. The Ulanzi capture clip plate (the part that goes onto the camera) is also ARCA-SWISS compatible.The release button is large and easy to push to release your camera. There’s a lock function on the release button, you just push down and the lock is engaged.There’s really only one con I would give the Ulanzi capture clip. The release button to open the top part from the middle part is on the top right side of the capture clip. So can be easy to accidently push that button and cause the top part to get loose. But luckily the design still allows the Ulanzi capture clip to stay firmly attached to the strap and you just push the top part back into place. Another con which is toward all capture clips, if using on a backpack, depending on how heavy your camera setup is, it could drag your back strap down to one side.I only used the Ulanzi FALCAM F38 camera capture clip for a few days so I can’t comment on it’s durability just yet. So far it’s working as I would like and I don’t have any issues with it or the design.

Die Fertigung ist Qualitativ sehr gut. Der Clip rastet einfacher und sauberer ein als bei meinem Peak Design Clip V2. Wegen seiner Bauform drück er praktisch nicht in die Schulter, das war beim Peak Design im Sommer auf langen Touren schon mal ein Problem.Wie lange die Befestigung mit dem Lanyard hält werde ich sehen. Ein Ersatz liegt bei, incl. des benötigten Werkzeugs. Als Ersatzteil bekommt man ihn auch. Ähnlich wie bei Peak Design besitzt der Lanyard mehrere unterschiedliche gefärbte Lagen, so dass man ein Durchscheuern erkennen kann. Man sollte aber tatsächlich ab und zu mal schauen.Die Beiliegende Arca Platte ist zwar Arca Swiss kompatibel, geht aber nur sehr wackelig in den PD Clip. Andersherum geht es nur sehr schwer. Die Platten sind etwas unterschiedlich dick! Da ich jetzt komplett auf das Ulanzi F38 umgestiegen bin, ist das kein Problem. In andere Arca Swiss kompatible Aufnahmen passt die dünnere "Arca Swiss" Platte problemlos. Lediglich eine ältere, billige Acra Swiss Stativ Schnellbefestigung lies sich nicht komplett spielfrei anziehen. Die habe ich jetzt gegen das passende Ulanzi Modell getauscht. Passt perfekt.
