I've bought/used these socks for over 15 years for running, cycling other sports and casual use. They are still my most used socks, but the quality is definitely different than they used to be. Just like other reviewers have mentioned as well. They are thinner than they used to be and they shrink in the laundry. I wash them at 30 degrees, but the first couple of times I wash them they shrink a little bit more every time.Furthermore the ones I received today are different than those of a few weeks ago. They are (among others) a bit less elastic. The package/label is blue instead of red and the new blue package says 'We care cotton'.I would love if they wouldn't shrink so much (keep their length) or if they would be longer so they still would have a long length after a few laundry cycles. For cycling I like some nice high socks (halfway up my calf). New they have the right nice length, but unfortunately they shrink significantly.I don't understand why each pair of socks is packed in plastic. In the past they were not. Feels wasteful. I think they can do without the plastic.

Deze kwaliteit is iets minder dan dezelfde Falke sokken die ik in de sportzaak heb gekocht. Je zou toch denken dat het dezelfde kwaliteit moet zijn?

Chaussettes très agréables, douces et bien adaptées aux pieds (gauche et droite découpées différemment, comme toutes les chaussettes de cette marque, que j'ai découverte par hasard en Allemagne et qui m'a convaincue d'en porter d'autres)

I like these socks for running. The height is a bit higher then I would normally do, but the sole and plushness is good. I typically go with the white and push them down a bit. With some Gray New Balances, it is a pretty classic look to be sure. Interestingly enough the other colors like the navy, grey and black can also be worn for running, but also make for great (and comfortable) dress socks in your dress shoes and suits. Typically for that you would go with the Falke Airport series or Tiago, but these are great for that too.
