The issues are it has an open end on one side so if you're trying to pull the rubber band across the horn of the sax the open end part comes off.. It would've been better of it had a rubber ring at both ends so then once held in place the sax wouldn't fall off the stand even if the stand was knocked. So I'm not sure I could trust the stand to hold the sax in place if on a busy stage.
