The inside diameter for 8mm shanks is not 8mm but 7.4!! None of my 8mm shanks (which range 7.90-8.10 mm in diameter) won't fit! Even the hex screws are the worse!

Als Verlängerung für meine Forstner-Bohrer hervorragend geeignet. Die Stifte sind aus massivem Eisen und die Bohraufsätze lassen sich schnell und einfach installieren. Lediglich Bohraufsätze mit dünnem Schaft lassen sich nicht so optimal zentrieren. Aber ansonsten Top!

I picked up a forstner bit with a 10mm shank. I didn’t want to spend $35 for a few inch extension but I absolutely had to have it.The piece works well. The only complain is the screws are awfully short but that is for a clean profile when drilling with smaller bits.Stability is great. Fits in my tail stock chuck no worries at all. It’s weird that there were only two options I could find for this type of item (the other was too long to fit on my lathe). Either way, it does exactly what I need to & does it well.
