This and another lower spec were bought to replace 2x 6TB Seagate Baracuda HDDs that failed within days of each other. This was on offer, so was cheaper than the slightly lower spec, hence buying it.Having an old, but high spec PC, both 4TB Nvmes are in USB C housings on a card on a PCIE2 connection, so they are not performing at benchmark speeds by any means.This makes them portable on the odd occasion I go elsewhere and saves copying data around.They still rattle along about 5 x faster than when copying to a WD Red drive which is fine for me.I don't game - just do everyday stuff with a bit of video/audio editing.It's nice to have silence and no lag when accessing data.As for longevity - time will tell.Let's hope they last as long as the SATA SSDs I'm still using for 10 yrs ago. In which case they will be really good value for money.
