This is a really good feeder, very compact and with simple mechanics, its easy to assemble, the timer is easy to use, there is an audio available but I haven't bothered with that, power supply is via a USB and three pin plug backed up by 3 D cell batteries which are understandably not provided. This is to support the device should you have a power cut.As well as setting the feed times there is the option to increase the portion of food served, this device will only dispense DRIED food

Der Futterautomat ist super, er ist nicht zu klobig und nimmt nicht viel Stellplatz weg. Die Programmierung ist einfach zu verstehen und sehr flexibel einstellbar. Super find ich, dass sich das Gerät die Zeiten und Mengen der einzelnen Futterphasen, selbst bei längerem Nichtgebrauch, merkt.

Compré éste por la oferta que se queda a muy buen precio para lo que suelen costar la mayoría. Funciona muy bien, y una vez que le has dado una lectura rápida al manual, no es difícil de configurar. Mantienes pulsado el botón de la tuerca y entras en modo configuración, y vuelves a pulsar la tuerca para avanzar entre las funciones que ofrece: Configuración de hora -> Elegir Número de ración (máximo 6) -> Elegir tamaño de la ración -> Activar/Desactivar mensaje de audio -> Hora de la ración seleccionada. Y ya está. Con los botones + y - modificas cada función. Vuelves a mantener pulsado el botón de la tuerca hasta que salgas de la configuración y listo. Esa es la rutina cada vez que lo tengas que usar cuando tengas que ausentarte de casa. La configuración se queda guardada si lo desenchufas.Se puede grabar un mensaje de audio de hasta 30 segundos que suena justo antes de caer la ración y de nuevo después. La calidad del audio no es buena y no tiene mucho volumen. Se junta justo con el pienso cayendo y con el ruido cayendo sobre el cuenco metálico menos se oye aún. Así que ni lo uso.También puedes hacer que caiga la ración de manera manual con sólo pulsar un botón.El depósito para el pienso tiene bastante capacidad, y en la tapa le puedes poner una bolsita que evita la humedad. Por lo que el pienso siempre estará en óptimas condiciones.El diseño es bonito, bien acabado y resistente. Funciona con cable USB conectado a un cargador típico de móvil, o con 3 pilas de tipo D. Pero la opción de las pilas la descarto porque ya con tener que comprar las pilas y un cargador para éstas te gastas lo mismo que otro comedero. Por lo que no puedo decir cuánto duran las pilas.Poco más que añadir, muy contento con el producto y tranquilo con mis gatos que tienen su comida cuando no esté en casa y me evito que pasen muchas horas sin comer.

Both my cats benefit from having relatively frequent small meals rather than big meals, so I initially bought one of these feeders to try give a 5am feed and it worked well so I bought a second feeder a couple of weeks later (as each cat has a different preferred kibble). I find the feeders to be great value for money and work well.I had a PetMate Le Bistro feeder many years and that had a flaw in that one of my cats could stick his paw up the shute and jiggle the rubber paddles to self-dispense food - I'm happy to report that this Faroro feeder doesn't have that issue which is great.The set up process is a little bit fiddly with a small LCD screen and just 4 buttons, but they've done about the best they could and I didn't find it complicated (I think some higher-end feeders have apps, but a this bargain price point you can't expect that) and it was easier than the old Le Bistro I used to have to set up. One minor niggles is that if you want to temporarily disable one of the timed slots by setting the portion size to 0 it seems to forget the timing (so you have to set the time again for that slot when reenabling it), but that's minor. Even without batteries it retains all the configuration if you're powering it just off USB and you need to unplug it to move it (or there's a power cut) then you only need to update the current time when you plug it back in which is great.It's worth noting that I did have an issue with one of the feeders after about 5 months of use - the motor started operating very slowly - but Faroro have a support email address listed in their instruction booklet which I then emailed and they were helpful with resolving the issue. I emailed them a description of the issue and a video showing the problem and, to their credit, they responded very quickly (within a couple of working days) with the offer of a replacement or refund and then quickly followed through on my choice so I was happy to have a replacement - I can't fault their service.
