This is an excellent metric tape measure for both left and right measurement readings.After seeing the only short video on this measuring tape, the short lateral movement of the hook is to compensate the thickness of the hook when getting a measurement, all measuring tapes has that feature.

The rugged, compact design feels durable yet light, and the secure belt clip means it’s always within reach, even on busy job sites.The tape is clearly designed with professionals in mind, handling tough environments and delivering consistent accuracy.The only thing I’d change? Adding measurements to the bottom of the tape would make working at height or in awkward positions even easier. It’s a minor suggestion for an otherwise outstanding tool.I’m already planning to get other FastCap models in imperial for added versatility. Love to use it as a multi tool,For the long term use I can say that the measurements are correct and that the paint on the measurement tape stays even after a year of use.

Finaly I got meself this gem of tools I use often.Away more easy for me to read the numbers.The price is allways bigger, since those Manufacturing cost is bigger to, and only byers to pay.It is hard to find lefthanded tools overall, and some are simply to expensive.Just happy to see this great messure tabe is not one of them. I think the price is pretty fair.So all lefthanded user should buy one.Buy with confidence.
