After an enthusiastic start with on-line guitar lessons (some of which were great, see below), I got into a rut and really needed some other way of learning. A friend suggested this book. The lessons are very well designed, they bring you forward, step by step, with lots of humour and encouragement as well as testing and developing your skills. I particularly like the way it's helping me to learn the individual notes, with simple tunes. But I'd also like to recommend Andy Guitar as an on-line tutor. He's based in Leeds, England, has a fab accent and I'm jealous of his real-life students. This book was the right thing at the right time and I absolutely love it.
