I don't normally write reviews but I'm so impressed with this cover it only seems fair to give feedback. I bought it for our 35 year old Austin Metro and for a general purpose cover it is a really good fit. It is easy to fit and remove and the zip opener for the drivers door is really handy to access vehicle without removing cover. I have used it for 4 months and the car is always bone dry despite some really heavy rain. It has also withstood two severe storms including storm Darragh which uprooted one of my trees but despite 90mph gusts the cover remained firmly in place. Fantastic product. Great value.

Listed as having five layers seems dubious unless one counts the reflective strips. It seems to have the waterproof layer and the cotton backing. The image shows one of several areas of holes in the fabric, this one probably caused by accidental stitching where it was not required. I did not consider it worth going for refund or replacement as we were so glad to deploy it and save time and effort as well as the cost of de-icer and its effect on the environment. We knotted the four straps into loops and secured them around the wheel spokes with bungee cords, making for quick fitting and removal. The cover is good in having the door mirror sleeves and with these having reflective strips as well as the front and rear of the cover.After snow and ice had covered the cover, it was easy to brush off and then to remove the cover, and stow it indoors before driving away. The alternative of de-icer, brushing and scraping would have taken much longer. Since our garage is full of other stuff, this cover is a very useful alternative. After drying it, it is just about possible to roll it up and pack it in its valise, but it is a tight fit. We have not used the long straps. It is not cheap but well worth the money contrasted against the cheaper, flimsy vinyl covers that are not tailored to fit so well and are nothing like as durable.

I am really impressed with this great value cover. It fits my car really well (MK1 Golf - if anyone with a MK1 is thinking about this it fits well) and has some really surprising features including the integrated hold down straps which and sturdy and long enough to tie to alloys. The zip is really handy for access meaning you don't have to remove the cover to get access to the car. The reflective strips and bold and bright if you are parking on the street and the elasticated elements at the back and front are tight and strong.Through the cold snap it has performed really well, held tight in the winds (I live on a hill on the top of a windy valley) and the car is dry and clean. There was some criticism in reviews I saw before purchase about quality of some elements but I don't wholly agree. I maybe expected the inner lining to be softer in my mind but is probably more about my expectations than the reality of such a great value cover and it is a lining which appears kind on paintwork.For product development I would probably recommend that version 2.0 would include a velcro flap over the zip but as it stands the zip is performing well and I don't have evidence of any water leaking in via the one here.Overall I think this is a great solution and such good value. Im very impressed and will buy again.

Initially selected one size and the 'Amazon confirmed Fit' told me this was wrong so chose another which has now turned out to be too big.Spoke with customer service who could only offer me an extended return option. as I am 8.5 months pregnant and specifically paid to have my car cleaned today and for the valet to cover it so that I can keep my car clean during my postpartum period, I have to have a C-Section. Yet the cover is too big for the car so the reflectors are out of place impacting the safety of the car. The only solution was to pull the excess cover to the back of the car and tuck under so the reflector on the front of the car sits in a reasonable place. Now my only option is to leave the current cover on the car and decide whether to order the size down and then return the current one if the new one fits. Amazon have assured me they will let me return the cover even after leaving on the car..... lets see.Its a shame as the cover seems ok quality, not as strong as I would have like but seemed like the best out of all the other awful options. I am really disappointed overall. First there is no instructions or info with the item which actually confirms what size the cover is so how do I know if I have received the size I have ordered. If this is the correct item then the Amazon Confirmed Fit is wrong.Made something which should have been simple and easy more stressful.
