La mappa è compatta, si apre e si consulta con semplicità in quanto è stampata fronte/retro e quindi non richiede grossi spazi per essere aperta.Purtroppo non è di carta antistrappo.In allegato c'è anche un volumetto di informazioni su luoghi e percorsi.

Tremendously Detailed, includes parking lots, extensive annotation, buildings/landmarks, natural features, etc.This is WAY beyond the level of documentation produced in US (USGS, Nat Geo, etc.).This scale should easily cover day trips/hikes. The scale is 1 cm = 500 m, which is "approximately" 1" = .8 mile. Contours are at 20 m (66 feet) intervals. Scale is about half that of the USGS 7.5 minute maps (which are 1:24,000, I believe).Map legend is tri-lingual, however home country language is used for map annotation (i.e., Slovenia mapped area are written in Slovenian, Italian portions are in Italian, Austrian portions are in German).There is a booklet included which has hikes/treks outlined, but it is entirely in German.It covers the area around Bovec, Tolmin, Kranjska Gora, and Lake Bled; and includes the Soca River (to Tolmin), and Italian and Austrian borders.One minor "disappointment" - it is printed on heavy paper. I assume that every map is now printed on waterproof "paper", but I shouldn't be surprised at this price point ($15) for a European import that it isn't.I cannot locate a copyright/printing date, so I can't tell how old this is.
