I love Nina

It's a very strange book. It mixes real transcriptions from recordings of Nina Simone with others based on the original versions in the typical voice-duplicated-in-the-piano. The good transcriptions based on Nina are: My Baby Just Cares for Me * Don't Smoke in Bed * Here Comes the Sun * I'm Going Back Home * Mississippi Goddam * Sinnerman * I'm Gonna Leave YouThe other songs aren't bad, though...Nina chose them for a reason! Feeling Good * Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood (Animals) * Ain't Got No (I Got Life) (From Hair Musical) * I Put a Spell on You * To Love Somebody (Bee Gees) * Love Me or Leave Me * Work Song * Ne Me Quitte Pas (If You Go Away) * Strange Fruit * Mood Indigo * Don't Explain * The Other Woman * I Loves You PorgyIt would be nice if the publisher had indicated somehow the difference between songs. Anyway, I'm happy with my purchase as I've got at least a bunch of good piano transcriptions and they are so difficult to find!

I got this specifically for 'Feeling Good' and was surprised to find that the arrangement, while good, is nothing to do with any version that I could find out there in the market, and certainly nothing at all to do with Nina's version.This contradicts the blurb on the cover. I can't vouch for the other arrnagements but Feeling good is NOT Nina's arrangement or anything like it
