The thing I like is a firm touch, not too hard. The thing that I don't like, it looks different from the images shown on Amazon and the Fender website and the one I bought from the guitar store. The one I got it's dark brown, not brown. It looks like not the genuine Fender. And I don't smell the real leather. The unfinished underside of the strap, light rough suede interior, rubbed off my T-shirt was full of it.

Die helle raue Wildleder-Innenseite rubbelt sich anfangs etwas ab, mein schwarzes T-Shirt war voller hellem Abrieb. Gibt sich hoffentlich. Ansonsten ein schöner Gurt.

This strap is like butter. So soft, I don't even know I'm wearing it! Nails the worn-in but still new classic look. It even smells great. Stays solidly in place and no metal bits to scratch my guitar. I tried a few other well rated straps, but they were so stiff I couldn't even get the pins/head stock adaptor through the holes/slits, and they dug into my shoulders. This one slid on with barely any effort, and has stayed put and been so comfy. Easy to take on and off. It is pricy for a strap, but after using this one I don't think I would be happy with anything else. It even motivates me to practice, its so badass on! Treat yourself!

This is a fantastic guitar strap. It is comfortable and really nice to use. Well done Fender on a lovely product!

To be clear, I’d not give any standard strap type a higher score for security. As usual, add strap locks of choice and the problem is solved. I’m possibly being a little harsh on ‘craftsmanship’. This is a fine strap and I have no complaints about it. It’s also not a particularly cheap strap. This price is fine, but the original MSRP was maybe a bit high.
