Hat leider nicht zu meinem Akku-Schrauben gepasst

The battery was received on time but when I tried to charge it , it would not take a charge. I checked out the charger which was ok and the battery I had received with my multitool (which I've only had 1 month) was charging ok, but no way could I get any power out of the new battery. I requested a refund and was pleased when I got a prompt and polite reply from the seller with instructions for returning the battery via Yodel. I was surprised when instructed that I would have to pay £4.60 for this which would be refunded when they received the battery back.I followed the instructions and was pleased when I was told later that the refund had been processed. However there was no mention of the delivery refund. After contacting Amazon I received an email saying that they had contacted their accounts department and that the lack of payment had been rectified and a "goodwill" payment of £3.83 had been refunded.So thanks for that Amazon/iShop247 that's me 77pence out of pocket for returning something that doesn't work as instructed. It's only 77p but it's the bit about it being a good will gesture, as if I'm partly culpable for the battery not working.
