I wanted to upgrade my current guinea pigs cage and i've always had Ferplasts.1- this cage is not easy to put together. The written instructions are usless. The 7 minute video is not helpful. Everything is very fragile and has to be in exactly the right position to click together.2- the raised areas of the extension reduces the floor space available3- the previous design allowed you to just lift open the front door to access the cage. I have my cage on a table so I can’t access from the top. Opening the front is not easy and causes the top to become unstable.4- i wouldn't recommend for rabbits as its not high enough for them to telescope unless its a Netherland DwarfThe only positives are1- the extension means you have options toincrease or decrease cage size.2- the sides are much lower for the guinea pigs to see over

This cage is fiddly and hard to assemble don't be fooled by the 7 minute ferplast assembly video it took 5 hours to put together all the connecting parts are stiff to snap into place and found the back of cage easier to assembly with it flat on the floor and not upright as in video. The instructions are useless. This cage is great size wise as rabbits are more active in the night and plenty of space for running & enrichment toys, it would be better with an opening front door instead of having to take the front panel completely out. Can't see many rabbits using the ladder or small side entrance/exit. If you are looking for a slightly smaller cage there are plenty of others that are good value for money & easier to assemble and of sturdier construction, compared to the Amazon basics cage I had ferplast isn't as sturdy only upgraded due to wanted the biggest cage I could find and ferplast were the only ones to do a 200cm one.

Beim ersten Mal war der Unterboden an mehreren Stellen gebrochen, sodass eine eigenhändig Reparatur nicht möglich war.Der Rückversand ist zum Glück kostenlos und sehr einfach.Beim zweiten Mal war der Unterboden leider wieder gebrochen (siehe Bilder), jedoch konnten wir dies selbst reparieren. Noch einmal wollte wir keinen bestellen.Der Käfig ist recht kompliziert aufzubauen, jedoch richtig schön, wenn er fertig ist.Unsere Meerschweinchen fühlen sich sehr wohl.Für den Preis sollte eine geeignetere Lieferung stattfinden bzw. die Artikel besser verpackt werden.
