Firstly I would urge caution when replacing the door. The plastic of the original catflap were very brittle. Be careful with the clips and screws.It would be handy for some users if this came with instructions. The original booklet that came with main cat flap only had an exploded diagram of the components. Frankly the fact we found the original booklet after all these years was miraculous but that's a testament to the cat flap's durability.The packaging was very minimal and could have done with more protection. Luckily it fitted through the letterbox and the Amazon delivery driver didn't fold the parcel (as per usual).It should be noted that the In/Out indicator doesn't come with the replacement door. Be careful when you remove and reinstall this. It broke where it was fitted on the old cat flap door during this process but put it on the new one without issue.It does comes in white and matched the original, aside from looking a lot less faded of course. It comes with replacement magnets and installation is straightforward. The only additional thing I may do this time is to apply sealant around the outer edge. I didn't do this originally but it may further reduce the any drafts and dirt from the reaching the internal components.

Ho voluto sostituire solo lo sportellino, rotto da una grandinata 'storica', malgrado l'apparato completo fosse di almeno 10 anni fa.Questo accessorio si é adattato benissimo; spero solo che anche gli spifferi gelati di quest'inverno non siano più fastidiosi del precedente. Eventualmente, segnalerò il problema al produttore.
