The only negative thing is that it can be hard to hold it when you sand with low grit on hard wood and full speed, but I can hardly blame the sander for that.

The only thing I do not like about this tool is that it is a) really too heavy to hold in one hand and anyway not constructed for that and b) too noisy!! Ouch! I assume the noise is due to the gear construction and necessary to prevent gears jamming on dust, but there is room for improvement there. You need to wear ear plugs.
