After reading the other reviews discussing the transformative nature of these blades, I decided to bite the bullet and order a set. Yeah...the other reviewers were right. These blades transformed the tool into something that has now become useful for more than just breaking down material.I was super hesitant to spend the money at first. My experience with hand-held jig saws has always been very disappointing and hence, I when I needed blades, I was reluctant to spend the money on more expensive blades when I could be disappointed with the results for much less money.Yeah these blades are the bomb. I have a Dewalt barrel jigsaw and when paired with these blades, it is like I have a whole new tool in my shop. I was making a cabinet for inside a closet that has a thick pile carpet on the floor. I wanted to put a curve between the corners to create 'legs' that would settle into the carpet. I made a template out of 1/4 ply, as I normally do, transferred the cut line to the workpiece and set out to rough out the curve to then be able to pattern rout the final shape. (the piece was way too large to rough cut on the bandsaw) .Normally, I am leaving a good 3/8" from that cut line because a jigsaw is going to tear the living crap out of the plywood. Then I am tossing a 1/2 shank pattern bit into my large router so I can hog out the remaining material and make a final pass.These blades cut a clean, tear-out free cutline in cabinet grade plywood across the grain of the face veneer. I was amazed. I went ahead and finished my cut to ~1/16th to the line, grabbed trim router with a 1/4" pattern bit and got the job done. Super easy. Great cut quality.Worth every penny. (which is what I normally end up saying after I grit my teeth, open my wallet, and buy a Festool product. I just wish there was an American 🇺🇸 company that could produce the quality of tools that Festool delivers)
