This antiquing gel gives the perfect contrast to my engraving. Very easy to apply and clean off the excess, and it dries up in a good amount of time. Great value for the money for sure!

I use this regularly on leather projects and it works great and gives a good, antiqued appearance. I am usually going for an aged look so I can't speak to its use on fine leather projects but for me its great. You don't even need to stain - it stains and antiques.

I routinely make knife sheaths which I try to compliment the looks of the knives that I also make. I was previously using another dye but it would dry out the leather, requiring me to use an oil finish. This gel doesn't dry the leather and creates a beautiful sheen to the finished product. I wish I had known about this long ago, it would have made my sheaths easier to finish and look much better. I have three of these gels now in different shades of brown and will continue to use them in the future.
