These little stick-on cable guides allow you to route and secure hydraulic brake hoses, hydraulic dropper hoses, or continuous runs of brake/shift/dropper cable housing (outer). They are made of very thin sheet aluminum, and are therefore very lightweight. The thinness allows them to be bent to shape easily. This means they are suitable for different types of frames, whether they are built with round, rectangular/square, or complex cross section tubing. Just press the clip into place to shape it, before taking off the protective layer from the double-sided tape, then remove the protector and stick the guide on. Alternatively, you can even pre-install the hose and clip it to the guide, before attaching the guide to the frame.Once again, since the material is thin and bends easily, they can be used to secure cables to flat surfaces as well. They can also be used for non-bicycle uses, e.g. to secure electrical wires, network cables etc - provided they are more or less the right diameter. The included plastic C-clips hold the hose/cable outer to the guide firmly. Once installed, C-clips are pretty difficult to remove. Normally you have to push on one side, insert a flat-bladed screwdriver or another prybar-shaped tool on the other side, and pull it up. However, since these guides are so thin, there's quite a chance of bending the guide out of shape, pulling it off, and so on. They are pretty cheap to replace, though, so if this happens, just throw it out and use a new one. Or just use cable ties instead of C-clips, and cut them off if replacing the hose/cable outer. The guides are lightweight, functional and cheap, but being so thin, they don't give the prettiest/sturdiest impression. If you want a higher quality look, go with some branded ones that are made of thicker material. However, those might only fit well on round tubes, meanwhile these are quite adaptable.
