This book is exactly as per its description - 15 easy jazz etudes. They are quite well suited to a novice player, sufficiently challenging but not strainful. Etudes they may be, but they sound just lovely. You could hold a gig just playing them and keep the audience quite happy. An interesting, fun, lovely book.

Una manera estupenda de aprender música. Las partituras no son excesivamente complicadas y ayuda mucho poder oir la canción, un lujo que sea Bob Mintzer el que la toca. Para los menos experimentados recomiendo oir el tema hasta sabérselo de memoria y poder silbarlo o cantarlo a la vez que suena y luego empezar con la partitura.Suerte y que lo disfrutéis tanto como yo lo estoy haciendo.

Great book for players around the grade 2 or grade3 area! Fun songs to play whether you find them easy or hard. Tenor version is a bit easier than the alto version, the tenor one is written in a easier nicer key. Bobby is the man!
