Immediately can feel the quality when I touched it. This isn’t the first item I bought from this brand, and honestly at this point reviews wouldn’t matter to me, because I’d buy it if I saw the brand alone just from how much I trust them.

These shin guards from Fightr (a brand I wasn’t previously familiar with) have been hands-down the best shin guards I’ve owned. Both my son and I have a set and we use them for sparring in kickboxing and they have taken months of punishment and are still in great condition (if a little scuffed up). They feel very light but the padding is deceptively dense enough to take an errant elbow, and I barely feel like I’m wearing them (previous guards always felt bulky and a bit cumbersome when kicking). One potential issue could be that the heel strap is a bit tight but not a problem if going barefoot (wearing shoes could be an issue). If we do manage to wear these down, I’ll gladly purchase a new pair - definitely getting my money out of these!
