My cats love this and are always taking a drink from it which is good. It's simple to take apart and clean which I do on a weekly basis. Every four weeks I change the white filter and strip the pump down to clean as well. The blue light is rather pointless as there is no window to see the water level. I have found that the tank size is just about enough to last a week for my three cats. Setting it up was simple and it works great with no water spillage. On top of that it's practically silent as well, if you listen carefully you can hear a faint hum but it's very faint and there is hardly any noise from the water spout either. Best cat fountain I have had so far.
