This looks very pretty and I love that it protects my books. I also like that you can tie it closed so that you don't have to worry about your book opening in your bag and losing your page or the pages getting bent. The strap feels like leather and is not attached to anything. It stays in place because it has friction against itself. So, you can remove it when you like, but it doesn't fall off.The only drawback is that the material feels like a stiff cotton, so it has no give. It fits a certain size book and that is all. It does have a way to adjust for the thickness of a book in the back, but if a book is too tall it won't fit at all and if it is too short it won't fit well. However, many paperbacks are right in that sweet spot so it will still get plenty of use.

I have been looking for a book sleeve for some time. I love to read and carry a book around, but often this leads to wrinkling or staining of the book cover. This book sleeve protects my books from such damage. It works with a particular book length (which is one of the most frequently found on the market), so it won't fit books that are taller than that. While you can't adjust the book length, you can adjust for book width - it fits both thicker and thinner books of this particular length because the right flap is adjustable.I like the flower design of this cover and the tie with the pearl is really useful in keeping the book closed while in my bag to avoid damage to the pages. This book sleeve is well made and has one small pocket on the inside flap to keep cards, bookmarks, or a note. This book sleeve is also helpful in hiding the book cover if you, for example, don't want everyone around you to know that you are into romance fantasy :). All in all, I am happy with this book sleeve.
