First time stenciler here... what I've learnt whilst using this amazing stencil... don't rush! Take your time, use frogtape to help keep in position and most importantly keep your stencil clean! I used various different methods, one being mount spray (removable) - that just left a sticky mess! And didn't prevent 'bleeding'. I found by taking my time working the dab (to remove excess paint) and cleaning my stencil every one or two times in between. A hassle I know but worth it.I'd also recommend buying two if you have hard to reach areas! Luckily the colour of choice matched my decor!Do some research beforehand, maybe what a few videos? And make sure your paint isn't too runny!A paint I used, dried to a perfect, workable consistency and I literally dabbed my stencil brush into the paint, removed the excess by making swirling motions in my tray...this helped make the paint more manageable...leading to clean, crisp lines.I only did my entrance to my front door and it took me days!!! But the result was worth it. Plus I had a house full and pets.I will definitely be using this pattern again, its beautiful 😍
