Die Fettpresse einfach auf eine herkömmliche Kunststofftube aufschrauben, etwas die Tube zusammendrücken, damit Schmiermittel in die Presse kommt, und ab nun nur noch pumpen. Es klappt sehr gut.Natürlich ist das Werkzeug nicht für die großen Fördermengen gedacht. Aber im Hobby- und Heimwerkerbereich ein gutes Hilfsmittel um sauber und punktgenau Schmiermittel aufzubringen.Damit der Schmierstoff durch die Düse gepresst wird und nicht hinten am Druckschieber austritt, sollte der Schmierstoff frei von Verunreinigungen sein (->verstopfte Düse) , herstellerseitig nicht zu niedrig viskos und vor allem nicht zu kalt gelagert sein. In der langen, dünnen Spitze kühlt er tiefgründiger aus, was einen Durchfluss nach vorne nachhaltig behindert (eigene Erfahrung).Für Schmiernippel ist die Presse nicht wirklich geeignet.Ich habe mittlerweile 3 dieser Fettpressen im Einsatz und alle tun, ohne Probleme zu machen, ihren Dienst.Kaufempfehlung!

La herramienta es un poco cara, pero vale la pena a la hora de aplicar grasa en esos espacios ocultos, ya no tengo que usar los dedos, lo que reduce significativamente la suciedad en mis otras herramientas, la rosca del tubo de se adapta bien a muchas marcas de grasa. Works simply and effectively with the zirk fittings on my rear suspension pivots. Only caveat is you need to find the right size tube of grease to thread into this. I'm riding an Intense Spider 29 with VPP suspension that has the tiny zirk ports on the bottom. After much goofing around and frustration with the Santa Cruz grease gun I got this. Screw it on to a tube of grease, give the tube a squeeze, then start injecting with the button on the gun. Super simple, clean, easy. As noted, you do have to be aware of tube size. I've always used Phil Wood grease for suspension and bearings, but the head on those tubes are too small for this gun. So I switched to Park Tool's PPL-1 Polylube 1000. The threads on that are compatible with this gun, though you do have to cut the tip of the tube off first to get the threads to marry up to the gun.
