This makes pouring the pellets into the pellet oven so much easier! For example, the shape of it helps “funnel” the pellets into the hopper, which helps prevent accidental spillage. Also, the handle on the back makes it easier to lift and pour. I was so surprised by how lightweight the bucket was, and by how many pellets it holds. I could envision leaving it next to the oven with pellets ready to go.I contemplated this purchase for a while, and am very glad I purchased it. It is rather needed for a pellet oven where the opening to the hopper is relatively high up.
