First 50 songs by the beatles piano: You Should Play on the Piano

As a total beginner it was exciting to play fave Beatles songs...so glad I bought it

The arrangements in this book look a little easier that my other "First 50" books. I am a self learning adult, and the other books from this series have been too hard for me so far. Lots of good songs, but some I'm not familiar with as well. Looking forward to using this book in the very near future. As usual, I cut it apart and put the pages in plastic sleeves in a binder for ease of use.

love this book. Ideal for someone who just wants to take it easy after a grade 5 exam, learn a new style of easy playing. It comes with chord names on top, so this can be used as reference to chose chords learnt in arpeggios and scales. There is plenty of opportunity to improvise the accompaniment and get more familiar with different rhythms suitable for this genre of music. And they are fun to play. The music is clearly printed with not so small notes, and notes perfectly aligned. Words are included so you can have your private sing along or have friends joining in. It is really good fun - but learn the music well first, of course.

These songs are 'stripped down' versions of popular Beatle songs. But for a beginner like me, I am sure with time, I will be able to master these.
