The book has a good selection of Bach pieces.Great print quality, well worth the money. Arrived quickly.

I am an older woman who gas been taking lessons for 5 months and whilst I found the pieces challenging, they were doable and my teacher recommended.

These may be "first" lessons in Bach, but the pieces are not for beginning players. I just started piano last year, but I had played a few years when I was younger. I'd say I'm at the advanced beginner stage and can play some early intermediate pieces. All but one of these are too hard for me, and the one I can play I really struggled with. I'd say this book is definitely for intermediate players. I'll hold on to it until I acquire a little more practice. I know Bach is a challenge and maybe it isn't even possible to make any of his pieces really for beginners. I don't think I would have bought it if it had not said "First Pieces in Bach."
