Met centreerpunt, ferifesnijder met gekartelde rand, 2 snijkanten en contrasterende cilindrische schacht. Met oppervlakken, voor het boren van scheurvrije, maatvaste gaten, voor randgaten en voor schuine boorgaten in zacht hout en hardhout. Verder in platen en multiplexplaten. De golvende rand rondom voorkomt het uitgloeien van de sneden. Licht en krachtig snijden door optimale snijgeometrieën.
Voor bijzonder mooie houtbewerking (fijne houtbewerking).

I was trying to find a way to bring 2 pieces of wood together at 90 degrees, like an Ikea system. I found the cam connectors and bolts, but needed a way to get a fairly flat bottom cut as most wood drills have a very large starting cone that ends up going through your material. This bit has a very small centering tip that gives you the ability to use it on material as thin as 5/8 inch. With material this thin, use a drill stand so you can control the drill depth. Very pleased with the result.

With serrations the blades cut more quickly and cleanly that other types of forstner bits

This is the best forstner bit I've ever used. I think the wave edge cuts smoother holes. In ¾ in. MDF (notoriously tough on cutting edges) I didn't notice any tear out. The carbide edge sliced the MDF and peeled it like an apple skin where other bits I've used have had a tendency to shred whatever I'm drilling in. The bit also worked great in soft and hard woods. It has stayed very sharp and cleans easy. I highly recommend these bits and would love to replace all of mine with this line of cutters.

This is so much better than the flat drill bits I have used in the past. I have used it on a large decking project to countersink coach screws with washers. It cuts in nicely at slow speed. Still going like new after about 40 uses.
