FIRST EDIT:I am amending my review to two stars after having the camera for a few days. I put the front camera a few weeks ago but the rear camera only yesterday. Today I got hit in the back at a traffic light. When I checked the video footage I saw that the front video was captured but the rear video stopped some 5 seconds before the hit and didn't capture it.A few (5-10) seconds after the crash I turned off the car to go out and see the damage and I think this is why the rear camera didn't save it, it didn't save the last 10-15 seconds before the car was shut off (I assume it lost power when the car was shut off).This is bad design, it should continuously record up to the time of impact or it should have a small battery to be able to save the video after the power is shut off.What if I had been in a big accident which turned off the power, then it would not be recorded at all. Luckily the front camera recorded it although I think it also lost a few seconds of video after the crash. The crash wasn't strong enough probably to activate the auto lock of the video.Therefore, if you are in an accident be sure to press the snapshot button before turning off the car or leave the car powered on after the crash to make sure the video is saved.SECOND EDIT:OK, I have tested it out a bit now, it seems that when you turn off the car the last 3-4 seconds of front camera footage are not saved and the last 12-14 seconds of rear camera footage are not saved. This is why it didn't capture the hit on the back camera, as I stopped the car and turned it off. Also, pressing the snapshot button does not immediately lock the video, it just makes a snapshot. I have noticed when testing that the snapshot button does save the video, but probably only when the video ends naturally after 1 minute, but it does not do it immediately, so if you press the snapshot button and turn off the car it will not lock the video.Bad design on this.THIRD EDIT:I am revising my review to 4 stars. I contacted Fitcamx about this issue, they asked me to upload a few test videos and a few weeks later they sent me a new firmware to try out. The new firmware is much better, the front camera now only loses 1 or 2 seconds, the back camera loses 3 or 4 (compared to 15 before), so it is much better but still not perfect.If they can get these saving delays close to 0 then it would get five stars from me, but the customer support was genuinely helpful and active to try to do somethingINITIAL REVIEW:The camera works great, the quality is good (I wouldn't say fantastic, still it is difficult to read license plates at night, but that could also be because the lights on the Sportage are quite strong). I've just put the front camera on for now, I'm not sure if I will put the rear.The installation wasn't difficult but not a piece of cake either. The most difficult part was getting the cables in under the cover when it was installed.ATTENTION: the instructions and the video say after you pry open the front part of the factory cover, you are supposed to push the rest of the cover forward. This was not correct for my car (manufactured in February 2024) and it caused me to break one of the clips on the factory cover because I kept pushing forward and when it didn't work I pushed down.What you should do is pry open the front two clips (one on the left and one on the right front) and then push the whole factory cover back towards the headliner just a bit and then pull it down. This is because the clips are interlocking and the clip on the cover faces forward while the clip on the windshield faces back, so if you push the cover forward you are just pushing the clips into each other.I think it would be good if this was reflected in the instructions, if they were updated with this. I don't blame the instructions, in the end its your responsibility and I forced it.Otherwise, happy with the purchase.

Perfekt!! Passt sehr gut und die Montage ist sehr einfach. Das kann jeder!Nur für die Montage der hinteren Kamera muss man sich erst im Internet Videos. Die Kameras funktionieren einwandfrei.Kann man nur empfehlen!!!!

Kamere schneller einbau, nach 3 Monaten kein Problem, Was nicht schlecht wäre wenn auf den Video die Geschwindgkeit sehen könnte.

Dashcam ist superschnell und einfach zu installieren schaut super aus die hintere camara ist auch einfach zu installieren man muss keine Abdeckung entfernen mann kann das Kabel einfach bei der Verkleidung unten drunter drücken 5Minuten Arbeit beim Kofferaum kann mann die anderen Kabelstränge nutzten dann würde man kein Kabel sehen aber mich stört das Kabel am rand nicht sieht man eh nicht .App super einfach zu bedienen man kann im Minutentackt die Videos hochladen ( super schnell und sie gegebenenfalls auch gleich per WhatsApp usw. teilen.) Das hochladen aufs Handy muss man im Auto machen aber man kann auch die Speicherkarte mitnehmen und bequem am PC herunterladen ( USB Und USB C Adapter für Speicherkarte ist dabei.)Einfach Schnell schaut super aus Top Produkt.Hersteller fragt auch bei Bestellung nach welches Auto man genau hat wegen der richtigen Spiegelabdeckung und Stromkabel Adapter. Einfach Klasse.Produkt ist sehr weiterzuempfehlen.

Passt perfekt man muss nur wirklich auf die Deckel Nummer achten ansonsten bin ich sehr zufrieden und kann es nur weiterempfehlen

Der Artikel erfüllt die Erwartungen, hat eine gute Qualität und ist von der Auflösung sehr gut!Ich habe das Set mit front und rear Kameras und muß sagen, die Installation ist wirklich Kinder leicht!Es ist alles dabei was man braucht, von Werkzeug bist zu einer guten Anleitung.Die dazugehörige App ist gut und einfach zu bedienen.Die Front Kamera ist so schön verbaut, das es wirklich aussieht wie ein original Teil.Das einzige was mir fehlt ist eine eingeblendete Fahrtgeschwindigkeit!Ist zwar nicht zwingend notwendig aber wäre schön gewesen wenn es dabei wäre.Ansonsten Top Qualität zu einem wie ich finde sehr fairen Preis!Das schönste daran, es sind keine Kabel zu sehen 😉
