These FiTSTILL lens and LCD screen covers come as a pack of nine - that is to say that there are three of each for each cover. The lens and back screen covers are made from tempered glass whereas the covers for the small screen at the front are made from plastic which is quite flexible - this is cut so that the re-entrant shape at the bottom of the screen is matched by the screen. The whole kit comes in a small plastic box so that you can keep them in a safe place for when you might need them in the future.The procedure for applying the covers is the same as for your mobile phone - you clean the screen or lens and using the provided wet swabs, drying it with one of the dry swabs and then, if there is any dust, cat hairs or other particles, using the sticky-label style dust remover patches to take them off.With the surface now clean, you remove the peelable layer of the cover and position it carefully, usually at one corner or edge and then letting the two surfaces come together, pushing out the air themselves. You can see this process progressing as the rainbow-like Newtons rings work their way across the interface, leaving the darker section where the two layers are stuck together. For me, I didn't have to try to force out any bubbles as none formed because the covers are so small when compared to a mobile phone.You can reposition the cover if you decide that it is not in quite the right position and you can so this by pulling up the corner carefully so that you don't introduce anything to the back of the edge of the cover. Repositioning the cover is just the same as when you did it the first time but now, you have some practice. If you do make a mess of it, there are two spare covers for each screen and the lens.The lens and LCD covers are only 280 microns thick but they have rounded edges so they are not sharp. The screen cover at the back is thin enough to let the touch screen work just as well as it did without the cover.These are good covers that do the job perfectly. In contrast to the feel of the screen before, the screen with the cover on feels a lot smoother.
