De eerste Flensted Mobile, dat de Flensted-familie heeft ontworpen. In 1953 heeft Christian Flensted drie ooievaars uit hout gesneden als cadeau voor zijn dochter. Je zegt dat deze mobiel magische krachten heeft, dus als iemand een kind wil hebben, moet je er misschien over nadenken om deze geluksooievaar over het bed te hangen.

Questa piccola opera d'arte è di grande impatto. Avevo già visto questo prodotto in un museo a Copenaghen ma non lo presi perche' temevo si sarebbe danneggiato in valigia. Qualitativamente è fatto molto bene, arriva nel suo pacchetto accuratamente imballato inoltre è dotato di fogli intercambiabili, uno bianco e uno grigio in base al vostro gusto. E' fatto a mano e se cercate su youtube scoprirete con quanta passione e precisione sono realizzati. In futuro ne acquisterò sicuramente un altro modello.

bought this a few months ago, and it's been a treat (see the pic i've posted). just the ambient air circulation of the room causes it to slowly turn. this model is one of the original flenstad designs, which you'll classically find in museum gift shops (like the guggenheim). it makes for a the perfect classy gift -- a slightly impractical but fun departure from the ordinary coffee table book or paperweight.
