I've been growing for about 20 years and have developed a keen sense for nutrients. I've been creating & using my own nutrient tea for several years as a base that I use instead of water.Water source: Triple Osmosis Filtered, 0PPM BasePH: 6.6Nutrient Tea: 40 PPM Base, Calmag, Blackstrap Molasses (2 tbspn/gallon) , 60% Urea Pellets (1tbspn/gallon)My Nutrient Tea has always ran slightly hot (7.0-7.2) and I usually add calmag as a conditioner, I really dislike using anything artificial to bring the PH down, and when I add my aftermarket bloom nutes they typically bring it down to about 6.0 - 6.4. None of those were used on this grow so its important to note that the FloraSoul Organic Seaweed Fertilizer buffered my PH from 7.0 to 6.6 on this grow, which in itself is amazing. On top of that, it has a low profile, a full feeding only added ~28 PPM to my base. Some Key Notes for Hydroponic & Water Based Feed Growers:Macronutrients are quick release nutes, however they actually take time to develop after they hit the water, think of them like a yeast for baking. Its important that you let a product like this sit in the water for as long as possible before adding more nutrients to it (I use a 50 gallon res tank, so I'll put in my organic macro nutrients, let it sit, blend & activate for 8 hours, then I'll add my other nutrients and let it sit for 24 hours before I feed *stirring or mixing with a bubbler*)Even if you let this sit for about 20 minutes before adding other nutrients to the solution you should be fine, but give them time to 'come alive' before you dump it straight into the grow medium - The longer the better. Results:First and foremost, it was clear in the first few weeks in flowering that I was going to have a wider footprint on this plant *same veg time* - I was able to get an almost 4x3 footprint when before it was about a 2x3 footprint, so much more plant matter to start off with.At 4 weeks it in flower the macronutrients had done such an impressive job helping the calmag, nitrogen and molasses penetrate that I could tell we were going to have litterally 2x the amount of flower, and the nodes were going to be almost 2x as long...... I wasn't wrong!I included a photo of my previous harvest, that entire grow used ONLY the base nutrient tea listed above, the results with ONLY the organic seaweed fertilizer - Simply amazing!!!More flower, bigger buds, and that's not even mentioning weeks 5,6,7,8!!!By the time this plant hit 5 weeks I could tell that it was going to be at least 2x the previous yield of 8ozThis is under a 240 watt light folks - The smell of the flower itself is absolutely devine! The smell of the nutrient tea, slightly acidic, but it looks great, the plants love it, and it lasts a very long time. I go through about 40 gallons of feed per month, and I'll use 1 bag every 3 months, totally with the underpriced value...Further Information:This plant is still in flower, we've got about 1.5 weeks left as I write this review, so I cannot give a final weight yet, but I will say they are harder, larger, prettier and have more trichomes than the previous grow, I'm fully expecting this to be a 1 pounder. (Did you notice the purple in the photos, great macronutes here!!!!)
