De FlyGA Nautical Mile Ruler helpt piloten bij navigatie en omleidingen onder VFR-omstandigheden. U zult deze NM-schaalliniaal vaak gebruiken om vliegreizen uit te stippelen, ongeacht uw ervaringsniveau. De compacte, transparante, stevige 3mm dikke, Nautical Mile Map Ruler past perfect in flight bags. Het heeft een handig formaat van 255 mm x 38 mm, het lezen van 0-60 nm in 1:500.000 en 0-30 nm in 1:250.000. De liniaal bevat ook statuut mijlen en kilometer (KM) schalen. Dit klassieke Nautical Mile Ruler-ontwerp is erg populair bij vliegschoolstudenten die hun Light Aircraft Private Pilot Licence (LAPL), Private Pilot Licence (PPL-A of PPL-H) of Commercial Pilot's Licence (CPL) cursussen volgen. La consegna è stata anche anticipata e mi è dispiaciuto constatare che la scala posta sul righello non esprime l'unità di misura in miglia marine in quanto 1Miglio del righello sono 1.500m. mentre un miglio marino sono 1.852m.

I'm not a pilot, but I am very interested in air navigation, so I bought this to help me with my self-learning.It's certainly useful, reasonably clear, seems sturdy enough for a plastic ruler and convenient. However, I wish I had bought a longer one. This ruler goes up to 30 miles on the .250 scale maps and 60 miles on the .500 maps. From my 'home' airport, I would like to have been able to measure 50 and 100 miles. That's not a complaint about this ruler as I knew what I was buying. From a 'would have been nice' perspective, it would have been good to have the 5 mile divisions ennumerated. Finally, The inner scales (km and SM) are both for the .500 maps - I would have preferred either both SM or both km for both .250 and .500 maps.The ruler does seem susceptible to marks and scratches, as others have commented, and I could have done without the website and logo - the website would have been sufficient.In summary, this ruler is not without its faults, but it does the job. Rather expensive for a ruler, though . . .
