Very good entry point into audio interfaces. The included software and video tutorials are great to get you started. As a bonus, audio through this sounds better than directly out of the pc.

The interface has a very nice design, the scarlet red looks super cool. Feels very well built. The preamps are incredibly good and the 'air' option sounds very cool for the mic. Being able to activate or deactivate direct return allows for listening only to the pc audio (if desired), which is a useful feature that cheaper interfaces might not have. The audio drivers are very good and have nice control options, with overall low latency. From time to time you get a free plug-in. If you are used to cheaper interfaces with Asio4All, this is an amazing upgrade.

I am extremely impressed with the Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen Audio Interface! The setup was quick and easy, and the sound quality is top-notch. I love the compact size and versatility of this interface - it's perfect for recording both vocals and instruments on the go. The included software bundle is a great bonus as well. Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase and highly recommend the Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen to anyone in need of a reliable audio interface.

But I ended up going for a USB mic with DSP chip inside. Also solid built and more portable.

Would highly recommend if you have a decent pair of headphones and microphone (for me it’s the dt990 pro and a beyerdynamic mic). Sometimes however ( quite rarely) there is something wrong and the sound on my headphones turns to complete distorted mess. I’m not sure what causes the issue. All I need to do to fix it is unplug the interface and plug it back in to power. Does anybody have the same problem?

Ondanks een enkele Jack en XLR input is dit een goede beginners optie. Aansluiten is ook heel gemakkelijk door de enkele usb kabel die de interface van stroom en data voorziet.

A legendary quality little machine.It oozes quality, is absolutely intuitive and no-nonsense. Setup through the web pages was rather awkward and dated, from the experience perspective - they should really review that. Yet without much pain Ableton and control panel were installed, and everything worked just fine.

I’m using this to record mediations using an audiotechnica mic with FL studio, it works well and I’ve had no problems , although sometimes it needs to be restarted but I’m not sure if that’s fl studio glitching or the device

I’m just playing amateur music on mic, electric guitar and electric drums and wanted to record and mix on GarageBand (in 2022) on my iPad. The Scarlet Solo works really well for this but it takes a bit of time to work through the various settings. Connecting everything up was fine. I had to select the right input Channel (bottom left in GB) and output Monitor (bottom right in GB) to use the guitar effects and hear what I was playing on my headphones. For my electric drums, in GB I used Audio Recorder > Voice > Fun > Clean to just record what was coming out of the drum output. And don’t forget to set your Song Section length in GB to Automatic so it keeps recording and doesn’t cut you off mid-flow! Mic, guitar and drums all working well. Really pleased with this purchase.
